Tan and Fun at the Black Sea
One of the most
desirable touring regions of Romania
is the Black Sea Seaside which runs to a length of an astonishing 245 km. It is
divided into two sectors: the northern one (Danube Delta) and the southern one.
The latter is mostly preferred by tourists
because of the many beautiful resorts.
The beech, with
widths that vary between 5 and 12 km, sweeps down to the sea in long stairs
from west to east. The promenade is the perfect place for tourists that enjoy
working on their tan during the day and for those romantic walks at night under
the Romanian moonlight. The fact that the beach has an east orientation, (not
something usually found in European resorts with the exception of the east
coast of Italy), means that the Sun shines all day long in the summertime. This
is an advantage of the Romanian seaside that other destinations do not enjoy.
The sea’s water
has less salinity than the water of other seas (17-18 g/l) and this is an
important feature in terms of attracting tourists. For young children, and less
accomplished swimmers, the absence of tides offers them safety. If you are
looking for accommodation, there are so many
places to stay. Choose from 5 star hotels or, perhaps, the more personal
style of a Guest House, all of which offer modern facilities to meet your every
need. At night, there is no shortage of entertainment. There’s plenty to excite
you as you meander your way through the resort. Explore at your leisure, but
most importantly of all, enjoy the seaside by The Black Sea – A perfect destination
for spending your vacation.
The beaches of
five resorts (Mamia, Eforie Nord, Neptun, Venus and Saturn), as well as the
touring port in Eforie Nord won the prestigious “Steagul Albastru – Blue Flag”,
granted by the Federation for Education and Environment, a distinction which
recognizes their importance and the
modern facilities on offer.
