Periam “Rock la Mures” Fest
ROCK LA MURES
This festival has already a tradition between Rock lovers, being the one that opens the summer season of Rock festivals. Is not only the concert that gathers so many people but the beautiful location, and the feeling is special. Fields as far as you can see, the beautiful river that crosses near the camping site, old traditional peasant houses in the neighborhood… Hundreds of people having fun, laying in the sun, doing whatever they wish in this land of liberation. Some even choose to bath, but I would advise you not to, as the river is quite deep and large here. And we wouldn’t want something nasty happening to spoil your fun!
“Rock la Mures” gathers rocker, punksters, hippies… anyone who likes to Rock the good way! There are plenty of outdoor bars and counters all along the river, the camping site and the entertainment area. There, you can find also hot meals and cold food, drinks, smokes and all the necessary items. At the entrance you can also find some souvenirs to make this trip unforgettable.
If you are a rocker and you’re used to going to this kind of festivals, you will find here a glimpse of Rock am Ring, Wacken, Szigetfest, Rock en Seine – but the old school way, so to speak. As Romania is in continuous development and recovery from the communist era, the festivals cannot have the same proportions as the ones from the West. But we’re trying hard to do our best.
