Rules for Visiting the Protected Nature Areas

Rules for Visiting Nature ParksWhen you'll be visiting the natural reserves from Romania, you should keep in mind a few rules as they are for your own good and safety. We made a short list with the most common rules for visiting these areas and hopefully they will help you out on your next journey.

  • Choose carefully the route most suitable for you; be cautious and vigilant; be realistic in assessing your strengths!
  • If in doubt about your route ask for information from the Administration of the Park and from the Salvamont office – the mountains rescuers!
  • Do not drive beyond the signs forbidding further access of cars!
  • Do not leave litter behind! Leftovers and packaging should be carried back with you in your rucksacks!
  • Follow only the authorized and marked routes during your trips!
  • Admire the beautiful flowers but do not pick them up: some of them are rare and endangered species and you might not find them there at you next coming back! Think that other people and the next generations have the right to enjoy the beauty of the nature as much as you have!
  • Respect wildlife: each animal has its own important role in nature!
  • Respect the silence of nature and of the other tourists!
  • Do not camp outside the specially designated and signed areas for camping!
  • Do not lit fires except from the camping lots and near the tourist camps, in specially provided areas!
  • Do not destroy the notice boards, signs, mountain refuges, footbridges or any other temporary utilities provided!
  • Enjoy the beauty and the freshness of nature but respect it and all its living creatures and make sure your passing by was as unobservable as possible both for nature and for future visitors!
